I was in the deep dark throws of January, and painted some dark and creepy 'self portraits'.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAfter months of gloom, things started to get warmer and life started creeping back into the city. I returned to the murky portraits and totally reworked them bringing new life, new optimism and fresh hope.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe darkness doesn't ever leave, but for a while we have spring and summer to enjoy. \u003cbr\u003eThese paintings remind me that 'change is the only constant'.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt's quite fun knowing that there's a creepy little face under those colours.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eSo these paintings are a little bit of me.
